Whether you are a small, mid-sized, or major Auction Company, setting up…conducting…and wrapping up an eBay Live Auction can be intimidating and confusing, especially if you are unfamiliar with Internet Auctions.

We're available to assist with a partial or total Auction set-up

Susan Ivankovich has been managing her company's Specialty Auctions since 1988, and has been using eBay Live Auctions to enhance her Auctions since 2003.

eBay Live Auctions open up a whole new realm of exciting possibilities, mainly by expanding your bidding crowd to those well beyond your region and bringing in a global audience. Once you have the merchandise worthy of advertising to bidders worldwide, integrating eBay Live can be one of the most advantageous steps to promoting your items or products outside your own arena.

However, the process of putting an eBay Live Auction together can be an overwhelming experience, and if you or your staff are unfamiliar with computers, eBay, eBay Live Auctions, the Internet, Hardware and Software Compatibility, this could deter you from undertaking your first eBay Live Auction.

Susan's proficiency with this can guide you through the intricacies of setting up, conducting, invoicing, and closing out an eBay Live Auction. Together with her partner, Jake Hyde, their combined experience will help you handle all the phases of getting through the hurdle of an eBay Live Auction.

Jake has been instrumental in assisting with the Ivankovich Speciality Auctions for many years, and also with their eBay Live Auctions since 2003. He not only handles the computer integration and set up required to run an eBay Live sale, but his expertise lies with the eBay Live Internet Clerking.

Perhaps the most important person in an eBay Live Auction is the eBay-Internet Clerk. The job of the regular Auction Clerk, who generally has to record the actual Auction and execute Absentee Bids, is difficult enough. The Auctioneer has an even more difficult job, simultaneously taking Floor, Telephone, Absentee and eBay-Internet bids, and managing the pace and flow of the overall Auction.

But without a properly trained eBay-Internet Clerk, the eBay Live Auction is almost doomed to failure. It is the eBay Internet Clerk who must be able to keep the Internet-side of the Auction moving. This individual must simultaneously execute eBay Absentee and eBay Live Auction bids, clearly communicate with the Auctioneer, understand and utilize the computer’s standard bid increment keys, be able to make instantaneous bid adjustments when necessary, differentiate between the correct floor and eBay-Internet bids, and insure that each and every lot is knocked down to the correct bidder. This is the most difficult eBay Live Auction job. It is not for the faint-of-heart.

While this may all sound too complex, it's not when we're here to help you through the step-by-step process. Bring your auctions to the head of the pack...see how happy your consignors will be when you tell them their merchandise will be offered worldwide. It's a win-win situation while you watch your consignor and customer base grow, and potentially your bottom line increase.
