We're pleased to announce that we will be conducting Wallace Nutting Auction #89 on Friday, May 5th as part of the 2017 Wallace Nutting Collectors Club Convention.

  • Friday, May 5th @ 3:00 PM: Wallace Nutting Auction #89. This Auction will feature consignments from approximately 25 consignors, and will include approximately 200 Online/Internet Lots and 125 Discovery/Non-Internet Lots.

NOTE: As the market has changed, we have taken three steps:

    • We have accepted far fewer items of lower quality and market-interest (e.g., Pictures with Condition Issues; Process & Pirate Prints; WN Books; WN-Like Pictures with diminished market interest, etc).
    • We have stopped taking smaller consignments from those unknown to us, unless the items are something special. The vast majority of items in this sale are from WNCC Members; Auction Attendees, and Past Customers & Friends.
    • We have shifted many clean but common pictures from the Live Internet to the "Discovery" portion of our sale.

As a result, we will intentionally have fewer lots in this Auction (thus the start of auction will be at new 3:00 PM time). However, the quality of our Discovery Auction will probably be the best ever, and the Live Internet Auction will include fewer items, but be of much higher overall quality than before. You won't want to miss this Auction #89.

  • Saturday, May 6th, 7:30 AM-11:30 AM: The Wallace Nutting Collectors Club will hold their 2017 Annual Convention complete with Speakers, Exhibitors, Trade Show, and Education … in the same room as Friday's Auction. We'll even have a taped video interview with Gertie Brown, a former Wallace Nutting Colorist, taken at the 1988 Wallace Nutting Collectors Club Convention in Southbury CT.
  • Saturday, May 6th, 11:30 AM-4:30 PM: Travel to/from Doylestown for lunch on your own and tours at the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle (Henry Mercer's unique home).
  • Saturday evening, May 6th: Annual WNCC Club Dinner and Hospitality Suite.
